On Friday, February 22nd, Bunny
Burkett suffered a fall at her home
in Spotsylvania, VA, which broke her
femur and also dislocated the ball
and socket attached to it. She was
taken to Mary Washington Hospital
where they decided to do a total hip
replacement (since the usual pinning
process would take too long to
heal). Fortunately, Bunny & the Boys
will not lose any bookings due to
the elected type of surgery; which
is her third one in only 17 months.
Bunny’s surgeon said it would be
approximately 8 weeks until she
recovered from the surgery, but her
bet is that it will take less. With
countless surgeries in her past
following the horrific accident of
1995, the “Bionic Bunny” plans to be
on the move very soon!
