The WildCard Race for team MIR
(one Top, one Mod and one Junior)
was held this past Saturday,
September 1st. To qualify for this
race, drivers must have been listed
on the points roster by the first
Saturday in August. Altogether,
there were 45 total racers competing
for just the three WildCard
positions.
In Top ET, the WildCard winner was
Jason Parker of Hughesville, MD
in his 2011 Racetech Dragster. In Mod ET,
the winner was Wendell Denny Jr. of
Manassas, VA in his 1967 Chevy II.
In Junior Dragster, the winner was
Shane Parker of Hughesville, MD in his
2009 Halfscale. Congratulations to all
three WildCard winners!
